After Care
Use cold packs on the treated area to minimize swelling and redness.
Avoid hot showers or direct water pressure on the treated area for the next 3 days.
- If crust appears on the skin surface, refrain from scrubbing or picking it off to prevent pigment removal.
- Do not scratch the treated area.
- Avoid using cleanser on the affected area.
- Refrain from exposure to sun, sauna, jacuzzi, or chlorinated pools during the healing process.
Permanent Eyebrows:
- Optionally apply cold packs during the first few hours at home.
- Keep the treated area dry for the first day after the procedure. Then, cleanse with water and apply Aquaphor for the next 4-5 days.
- You may apply makeup after 48 hours.
- Rinse with water and gently pat dry as needed.
- Use a mild soap for cleansing (examples: Ivory or Dove).
- Wait until the area is completely healed before dyeing eyebrows.
Permanent Eyeliner:
- Apply cold packs for the next 48 hours, 10 minutes on and 10 minutes off. Avoid placing ice directly on the permanent eyeliner .
- Keep the treated area dry for the first day after the procedure. Do not apply ointments or Vaseline; allow it to dry and heal naturally.
- Use only artificial tears products to moisten and cleanse the eye area.
- Avoid curling eyelashes for 1 week.
- Refrain from using makeup or mascara for 3 days. Use a new tube of mascara when you resume.
- Rinse with water and gently pat dry as needed.
- Wear sunglasses for the first 24 hours after the procedure if you're outdoors.
Permanent Lip Liner and Full Lips:
- Permanent lip liners may become dry; apply Aquaphor to keep them moist.
- Avoid applying lipstick until lips are fully healed (approximately 7-10 days).
- Be gentle when wiping lips with a napkin while eating; pat them instead.
- If you have a history of cold sores, take Valtrex for 3 days after the procedure.
- Drink liquids through a straw.
- Use cold packs during the first few days as needed.
It is essential to adhere to post-treatment instructions to prevent pigment loss, discoloration, or infection and to promote proper healing. You may experience tenderness in the treated area during the initial days. Typically, the treated area(s) will maintain a dark appearance for about 5 days following the procedure, although individual factors can influence color intensity. Permanent lip liner may remain dark for 6-7 days before gradually fading. Adjustments to color and shape can be made after the healing period. Please be aware that we cannot guarantee that the color will remain unchanged, particularly if exposed to chlorinated water, unprotected sun exposure, saltwater, peels, dermabrasion, Retin-A, or Glycolic acid, as these can affect and alter pigment color.
